In resoponse to the artical by Slack: Accessing "Employee Only" Menu on Most Nokia Cell Phones.
This info is cool...if you know what to do with it.
Please follow instructions to the letter. If you do not....your phone may not work and you are basically DICKED!! I work for AT&T Wirless so I know this shit works but there is some important stuff in this menu that will permanantly destroy your phones call quality. Step 6 is the only exception. You can type in anything that will fit here. Once you have done this you can go in and change just the Alpha Tag to create and change your custom Nokia Banner. What is better is snag your friends phone and enter shit that is embarrassing like "I LOVE COPS"!! Or "MY BOSS SUX". Or my favorite "10MM PENIS."
SLACK gets us to the main secret menu by entering from your Nokia phone *3001#12345#
Once at the menu selection of NAM1
1.Hit the "select" button.
2.Scroll to the PSID/RSID lists.
3.Select P/RSID 2
4.Scroll to PSID/RSID and hit "select".
4.Enter 40231 then hit "ok".
5.Scroll to Alpha Tag and "select".
6.Type in "I HATE COPS". Hit "ok"
7.Scroll down to SOC code and "select".
8.Type in 2049.
9.Power phone off.
10.Power phone on.
11.Be proud...you "B" reprezentin'!!
Some Nokia Phones you can change the name of some profiles and you can do two part messages by changing the names of those as well. You can put "COPS BURN" as your Alpha Tag. Then change the name of your profile to "IN HELL!!" This will create a more complete vision of who you are!! Take care have fun.
