Well the flatulence of cows which expel huge amounts of methane is thought to be a significant contributor.

Methane is a 20X more potent greenhouse gas than CO2. H2O is also a greenhouse gas, but a relatively benign one whose level in the atmosphere is regulated by condensation and precipitation.
When methane is combusted it yields:
CH4 + 3 O2 => CO2 + 4 H2O + Heat
Therefore combusting methane is better for the planet than releasing it. True environmentalists will set their farts on fire, and not only their own farts. They will set the farts of friends, relatives and wild animals on fire. Through pyroflatulation we will save the earth.
BTW how is H2O broken down? If it isn't then wouldn't all oxygen be sequestered in water?
