6,000 pounds enclosed behind bulletproof glass. The heavily reinforced base contains 80 lead-acid batteries that drive the four motors (one in each wheel). At 45 mph it can travel 240 miles after charging for 3.5 hours for $5 worth of electricity.

He's planing a system that can allow people to safely travel from one city to the next at speeds over 300 mph!

This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRi2j_r0KRs&feature=related)car cost them less than $1,000 to make.

This is some of the funniest shit I've seen in a long while, I think we should rename it the "Lulzmobile" and make Snoopy drive around America promoting it.

Joking aside, how the hell is this thing any better than other hybrid cars?

And why, of all the possible chassis designs, did he pick the one that is almost guaranteed to get him dismissed as a grade-A crank... assuming that he isn't?

It's constructed of steel girders, tubular steel, bubble wrap, bullet resistant glass, and has sharp, pointy angles.

I know he means to run us normal car drivers off the road.

I for one welcome our electric pyramid driving overlords.

I think he just watched too many programs with too many remote controlled robots, and decided he wanted to pilot one human sized.
