How do i update the graphics drivers on this?

I have bootcamp and my graphics drivers shown on the windows partition are out of date (ATI released an update june 2007) and i want to update it because the graphics on some games (bf2) are spazzing out with weird colours floating around and such.

I try to download and install it but it says it can not find a compatible hardware to install it.....

I cant find these updates for the mac OS because the X1600 isnt listed on ATIs drivers site!.

It says this is specifically for Bootcamp for running Windows XP. It wasn't released in June 07 but in May, a month earlier.
This might help you, might not. Thought I'd give it a shot.

I am downloading bootcamp 1.3, they have support for the backlit keyboard and updated graphics drivers so yay.

How do you update anything such as this on the mac side? does it do it automatically when you do a software update?

Yeah, when they do system updates they usually combine it with any available video card updates. So you usually never need to worry about what driver version you have.
