do you think the practice and ritualistic use of smoking weed and other drugs holds magickal properties? what connnections do drugs have to the magickal world?\

personally when smoking weed it opens up many magickal properties to spirtual entities which open you up to more entities in other drug realms which are very dangerous (cocaine) that try to get you to do favors for them in higher realms but are resolved within our third dimensional realm with your help.

somtimes they can be helpful in your own life because they can be your own per say angels (but they are really just spirits,like orbs,star etc.) but you must be careful because these plains are unknown to ordinary mandkind, the average person will get taken advantage of by mean spirits!

Its a great question, too bad not enough people ask it. Beyond drugs even there is a huge gap between us and our forefathers as far as being in touch with magic and the earth. We have lost almost all of the great teachers, shamans, and magicians. Who knows how many pathways and tools we have no clue about, all the sacred knowledge, gone or "discredited" and lampooned.

First, I think you sure either lay off the drugs or learn to spell. Drugs are nothing but a crutch to obtain a certain state of mind. Mind you, sometimes a crutch is necessary like the first few times you try something so you may get the feeling. Personally, they don't do much for me since I can conciously control my state of mind...so basically I can drink a lot of alcohol or smoke a few bowls of weed and not be effected mentally but I still my get sick to my stomach.

The first time I smoked weed I was very stoned and I listened to the song 'comfortably numb'. It felt like I was being talked to by a spirit ("hello / is there anybody in there / just nod if you can hear me / is there anyone home")
that was either cannabis itself or a spirit that used it as a kind of doorway.

My wife--a professional psychic reader for over thirty years--used to keep a mild bizz on, said it helped her. This was bullshit. She quit smoking weed the same time I quit smoking weed and tobacco and also quit drinking alcohol--all that shit being toxic. Now she does better work.

Sure, some shamanic cultures use various and sundry hallucinogenic drugs--they are the minority that gets the attention. Most shamans use sonic driving (or a variant, such as ecstatic dancing), or sheer meditation to obtain the SSc--Shamanic State of Consciousness, aka the theta state.

Moderate doses of stimulants are helpful when doing, say, a prolonged drumming session, or just to help one keep from slipping from theta to delta, but I see nothing magickal in it, just basic neurochemistry.

In my experience, potheads will concoct any reason to justify their addiction--as will any addict, regardless of the specific addiction..

I saw a show a while ago on the use of hallucinogenic drugs throughout mankind, in which they were interviewing this shaman for South America. He said something to the extent of, in his tribes shamanic traditions the younger shamans were introduced to the "otherside" by means of hallucinogens, but the older shamans were able to replicate this feeling because they were already familiar with this "otherside".

Drugs are powerful tools. If you need them, use them. Try to not need them.

Inherently, there are no spiritually beneficial factors in any drug known to man.

Granted, if one possesses the capabilities for spirituality and the cultivation of aforesaid spirituality, then you could say that drugs (cannabis predominantly) provide an ease with which one can focus on important aspects of one's spiritual growth.

Note; if you aren't spiritual to begin with, drugs will make it harder.

EDIT: In terms of magika - it's possible, but it's also far more likely that one can fail than if you were trying to grow spiritually.
