There used to be a big buzz about this guy on totse. He was supposedly a time traveler from the year 2036, and had came back to 1976 to get some old computer they needed to fix some shit, and then he stopped in the year 2000 for whatever. He posted pictures of his "time machine" and made some predictions.
(16) There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005. That conflict flares up and down for 10 years. In 2015, Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe. The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska.
He also said the 2004 Olympics would be the last ones ever, but we had them in 2006, and the 2008 Beijing games don't seem to have any interruptions.
Of course, he also said all the things he predicted could be prevented, so even though that shit didn't happen, there's no way to say he was completely lying.

If John Titor was a real time traveler, he was not from our world-line.
If he actually traveled back in time, he would have traveled back from a separate world-line (in the 5th dimension). This would explain why certain predictions did not come true.
In fact, unless he could travel 6th dimensionally, it would have been impossible our world-line to become his exact one. His presence in the past alone creates a huge new range of possible futures, and his own could not be included in that, since on his world-line there never would have been a time traveler named John Titor in 2000.

well, if i remember the 'titor theory' correctly, then there are infinite worlds where infinite decisions are made differently. so he didn't actually create them they just exist.

5th and 6th Dimensions are just terms used to describe different levels of complexity, and could be replaced by any amount of numbers, probably. Its just 10 is really easy to use.
moonmeister, I don't really now what to say about mass. Although, I do know that a possible explanation of dark matter (which can only be observed by us through the force of gravity), is the mass of all these 'other' alternative world-lines, somehow connected to ours.

I'd think the the mass of those alternate universes would only be measurable from within them. Therefore the mass question is moot.
We can already observe the gravitational effects of dark matter from within our universe so it wouldn't be able to explain it anyway.
