I was wondering where the best art is in the world. In a specific country or city; it could be any type of art of the world: Revolutionary, ancient, inspirational, mordern, or classic. It can be a mural or 3-D. Anything that is man made...

Florence, Paris.
I would say Florence as well... although areas in Amsterdam appeal to me quite a bit. Maybe it's because I love Van Gough?
I've seen alot of good art come from the US alone.
I'm not to fond of alot of drawing/painting - but I do like some, but I'm a fan of writing & music.
Alex Grey, one of my tops favs, is from Ohio.
M.C. Escher was born in the Netherlands.
So yeah.
But I dunno about the 'city' with the best art, so, I'd probably agree about Florence.

It definately depends upon what you're looking for.
Personally, I believe the best place for art is South Africa, because there's a great mix between tribal art and more European styles, and it's also very inexpensive.

We walked the Champs-Elysee in Paris and along the road were dozens of installation art pieces by different artists. That was pretty cool.
