i've been thinking about a cd duster thread i seen about a month ago. some dude allegedly shattered a plastic cd duster on some hostiles face. it occures to me that if improvised weapons are your thing, a duster from a hard disk would be much more durable. i made two from an old 540k. didn't have a torx driver so i just beat it open with a sledge, then a modified it like in the threads. the steels soft and doesn'r hold an edge for long, but againtst flesh it's nothing short of devestating. have fun.

Don't old hard-disks have cancerous dust on them?

Yes, the CDKD helps you out about as much as a portable self-depantsifier.
