what's everyone general thoughts about this fine specimen of german enginering? i just shot a couple mags through it. seems nice. the coolest thing is that the literature says it can chew up and spit out any 9mm ammo on the market(obviously the 9mm version) anyone know much about +p+ ? mainly used in sub-machine guns? i shot some +p in it and couldn't feel or hear the difference. i wasn't expecting to though. the hell is poop getting back?!!?! im sure he could cram more info down my throat than i care to read. great gun though. i wanna get my hands on a fullsize sometime though. preferably in .40 or .45

The usp series are very good pistols, very accurate reliable, and resistent to salt water corrosion. I myself own a usp45 I really enjoy the gun, next to my Beretta. You can fire he most powerful rounds out of the usp even+p+. The compact weigh less than 2 pounds unloaded. And it fits 13 in the magazine(9mm).
The best in my opinion, my favorite...the USP .45 Match (2 of them). CONS: Expensive out the ass.......holy shit, some will cost you $11,000, for a fucking pistol. SHIT TALK ABOUT EXPENSIVE. You can get an AK or something much better, like a Barrett anti-tank rifle. Or a variety of other maching guns. For that much, I could get a good pistol, a couple sub machine guns, a bad ass sniper rifle, and/or a sawed of pump-action 12 guage shotgun.

so have you shot a USP match? i bet that'd be pretty sweet. i didn't really want general info, just some things to look for from someone that has put a couple 1000 rounds through theres. i'd rather get a wilson combat tactical .45 only 3,500

I hope that was a typo.
I've owned a HK usp .40 fullsize and am about to buy a compact pretty soon. They are great guns in my opinion.
The hk usp compact 40 is a kick ass gun. It almost never malfunctions as long as you keep it clean and oil it. Nothing usually breaks. The extractor is nice and beefy so it grabs the spent brass and throws it. The only problems I have seen with it are shooter induced. e.g.limpwristing or not loading ammo into mag correctly. It is easily concealable and is highly reccommended. I have a Glock 27, hence my name, that I swear by. No malfunctions whatsoever and I have about 8,000 rounds and counting through it. I also carry a Beretta 96d brigadier which is very accurate and easy to maintain. Getting back to what I was saying though, the h&k is definately a top notch gun as long as you have the money and the know how to take care of it.

USPs arent that expensive, I only paid 750 for mine with night sights.
Guns are unnecessary if you know how ti fight. :)
And if it's for looking scary, try this. http://kis.net/007/junglewar.jpg

maybe in your country, but that knife isn't going to do anyone any good nor is knowing how to kill a man with your pinky, when someone is breaking in your house with a pistol grip shotgun.

It dosent matter how good you can fight when youre 30 yards away from someone with a gun aimed at you.
I just had the pleasure of shooting a few hundred rounds through the usp compact 40 and it was a fucking joy. The gun has a small amount of kick but it is totally manageable. It is the gun currently being issued by ins to plainclothes officers and it has a different trigger setup, but it is phenomenal. I also got to shoo the hk ump40 fully auto sub gun. That was a blast. Anyway, if you want to get one I reccomend the .40 caliber. Just make sure you don't use reloads, only factory fresh.
