has anyone heard if the nano scale RP/I from rho..dium works or is it yet another way for n00bies to go astray and waste ingrediants

It WILL indeed work. But, for New-bees, it is a hard synth. Everything must be cleaned, and re-cleaned(Not the flask and dishes either, SWIL means the pseudo!).
If one were to put their effort into this synth, they will have success.
As with any synth... expect at least 3 full trys. It will take about that many times to get the ingredients cleaned about right.
Everyone will fail at first, it's just natural.
SWIL thinks that failure will happen everytime using LordMighty's synth.

I'm sorry lukky, but I have to disagree. I haven't read Rhodiums nano, but if it's anything like the MODIFIED Curbshot it will work the first time and with kinda, sorta, ok pseudo. Swigotta has done about fifty. Can't seem to wait long enough for a big 'un. That's because he sucks at cleaning up that dirty assed shit.
A little crap is generally ok if you go very long and don't get it too hot.
How 'bout pseudo=1.0
rp=0.7-1.0
Iodine=1.2-1.5
30 hours and just a few bubbes on surface. Longer won't hurt.
Swigotta had 2 failures. One was "I dunno" and the other was, "just leave me here and come back in 30 hours, and see what I give a." Swigotta is big, quiet, and wierd, but he can sure bake a good nano.
Just came back from there a little while ago. He was finishing up on a 7.2g. slightly dirty cook. (the pfed was dirty. Everything else is always pretty clean.) One Warlock dual solvent and two hours later we were waking up to that first cup 'o the day flavor of some pretty sparkly little pins.

this is from curbshot but it talks bout a candle and a can of wet sand is this and 1 hour of cook time is this enough heat and time and i appreciate the info ive been tring to read as much as i can and been seeing alot of smart as remarks being made

The candle and sand will probably not be enough, unless minimal sand is used and an aluminum muffin mold may come in handy. Ditch the thick walled soup can.
SWIL would suggest multiple candles, giving a lower temp reaction.
Remember, if SWIU's pseudo doesn't look like meth before the reaction, it isn't going to after the reaction either. Clean, Clean, Clean.

Get a thermometer. Try about an inch. Put the vessel 1/2 inch into the sand along with the thermometer. That thermometer had better to be able to keep a steady 150-60 Celsius for at least 6 hours. At best, with a small rxn, it could yield 50-65% reduction. That's SWIL's speculation anyways.
SWIU should be shooting for a temp of 240 C. This is going to be a hot cook, and at best, SWIU can hope for TWEAK. Street dope, as we call it. And SWIL is cursing himself for even teaching one how to do it, shame on him! Learn to make diamonds, it's much more fun(so says SWIL).

i have searched, but cannot find the modified curbshot. does one know where i might find this? tried rhod, hiv, totse, but have not been able to locate.
