I have never done this before, but I figured, what the hell, and got out my trusty pendulum. Here, then, are some of my predictions for 2007.
No terrorist nukes. However, look for major terrorist attacks involving biological weapons and/or poisoning of food supplies from both foreign and domestic (i.e., non-Muslim American citizens) terrorists in 2007.
New Orleans will be hit by another major storm or hurricane in 2007--and the US Gummint will fail, once more, to respond adequately.
There will be a major earthquake in Nevada in 2007.

Of course, you'll just tell me that your predictions aren't meant to be taken literally, or are intentionally vague, or are never 100%...
Or maybe you'll be right. Either way, you come out 'right.' Gotta love a business where results don't matter.

Ah...Much Better... Ahh For 2007 I see oh no...
Let's split this year down into quarters,
----------------------------------------------
January - March - 1st Quarter
April - June - 2nd Quarter
July - September - 3rd Quarter
October - December - 4th Quarter
-----------------------------------------------
1st Quarter-As President Bush Removes some troops from Iraq, He will be sending more out, Not to Iraq though. Another country; Possibly Iran. Oh wow this isn't a surprise, I think we will be heading into another war in the middle east.
2nd Quarter-Heading through Spring and into summer, exect temperatures 5 - 10 degrees hotter than normal. Making Global warming be on the news everyday. As scientist scramble to try and fix what we have caused.(Global Warming) Another conflict arises, this time within the United States, Mass protest against the government. President Bush will begin to feel like he is losing complete control over the USA.
3rd Quarter-Protests tend to calm down. Atleast it seems that way, Coming into the autumn months we will see a great deal of stress as Bush attemps to win the battle in Iran. Kim Jong Il, Will begin making nucular threats, No bombs launched at the US, not just yet anyway. President Bush threatens to storm into North Korea. Right around mid-sept. The whole world will see a huge Technological crisis. Most Sattelittes will be out for atleast a week, Once this problem is fixes we learn this could be the work of N.K. Making Tensions Worse Between the US and NK.
4th Quarter-coming to towards the end of the year, one possibly two Major Natural Disasters Will Hit the United States. As the year comes to an end President Bush will struggle to keep his nation under control, and Have a war with Iran on his hands and a Ticking Time Bomb name North Korea ready to blow.
----------------------------------------------
don't know how I came up with this..
Actually The Sattelitte Part I dreamed a couple times that N.K. Took down all major sattelittes. And then started Bombing the hell out of the US

Thank you for offering me still another opportunity to correct your error. Let's see, that makes about three jillion, two hunded bazillion thus far. . . .
The fact is, in my professional work, results matter very much, since I have no set fee--the client pays me what he or she thinks the work was worth.

Of course, and with enough practice in vaguery I could do exactly what you do and obtain the exact same results. Explain to me how you are any more correct than I am.
My predictions for 2007: This crap will finally come to end, and people will stop believing in that which is fundamentally flawed and devoid of rational thought.
It could happen.
Edit: And of course that system works for you, you probably get it right about half the time, so on average people pay you a fair amount, which covers your failures, such as when you get something which the client thinks is extremely accurate.
You're so good at scamming that you forgot you were doing. That's not a personal attack, it's just a fact.
I seriously doubt anyone flew from anywhere to meet you in a shack that you yourself claim to have no electricity or running water .
Of course, maybe back in your 'glory days.' We can all make up stories, but it's much harder to make them believable. Sadly, unlike your prophecies, that story wasn't open to interpretation.

God told me that in 2007, the laughing man will throw his pumpkin into the breadbasket, and the eagle will run into a tree.
He also told me I will go insane from reading and posting in PD, and I will think everything is real and not real, and everyone is a cat but not a cat. I think you're a cat, but are you not? I don't know- reality is subjective, or so one of it's subjectivities told me.
Perhaps the past is the future? Am I profound yet? Will people venerate me as some sort of gifted mystic now?

The plot to the last Harry Potter book is as follows:
"Hermoine dies, and Dumbledore becomes pregnant and gives birth to a pair of twin hippogryphs, much to his severe pain and embarassment.
Harry Potter later cannot deal with the horror of Hermoine's death, and becomes a filthy hippy who ends up dying from a heroin overdose and is found by Dobby on the toilet, dead and wasted away like an anorexic shadow of his former self. Ron Weasley gets involved in the homosexual night club scene, and after one steamy night of dropping acid in another faggot's bedroom, promptly gets aids. The story ends with him looking sadly into the sunset with Neville Longbottom, his new life partner"
After reading this book, mass confusion will result in the general populace, and society itself will collapse all thanks to that horrid cunt, J.K. Rowling.

But what is the difference between monetary gain via doing a reading for a paying client, which I believe you find acceptable irrespective of how much they actually give you, be it a $100 or a bottle of bud. Which to my mind is already a "gamble", compared to directly gambling on your own predictions?
What is it about 'direct' gambling that would suggest you weren't taking your work seriously?

"What I can surmise from that is that earthquakes are likely, but planetary collisions with asteroids or big cometary debris are unlikely. Continued war and ecological destruction are more likely than a sudden outbreak of peace and sanity. The super-rich will continue to grow richer, while the merely wealthy and the striving middle class become more resentful of the super-rich, and the list of tools, toys, opportunities, necessities, and luxuries enjoyed by those classes, without which those of us in the lowest economic class must exist, will continue to expand."

well for the UK:
1st Quarter: the government will see in more stupid laws..forever begging and pleading with the EU...things will pretty much go on as normal..people complaining about taxes..pay...blair...the Iraq situation...but not taking any action.
2nd Quarter: Petrol prices, after fluctuating for the best part of 2006 will finally strike the colossal $10 (£5) a gallon (£1 a litre). With any luck people will finally see that this continuing push on the motorist has gone far enough. This rise, coupled with the recent car tax increases, the tracking proposals, the fines left right and center for literally anything and the car testing laws will see a steady increases in protests and a start to the blockades.
Police will be in full enforcement...a decision taken on by the government in order to cease the protests. Gradually the system will break down again...an event not seen in 6 years.
3rd Quarter: Blair is proposing being replaced by this time. Whether this will happen...much like our forces returning for Christmas last year (/sarcasm)...has yet to be seen. The petrol crisis will hit its peek. People will literally be incapable of getting to work unless they previously invested in greener or alternative fuels.
The petrol protests will spike up other protests regarding the governments running of the country as a whole...allowing for the people to finally get one over on the system thats killed them for a decade.
By the end of 3rd Quarter the economy of the country is hit massively...the pounds value begins to drop, supply's due to the lack of fuel begin to fall. Petrol tankers are attacked on route unless accompanied by police escort.
4th Quarter: In complete desperation for the country, Labour gives in. Petrol prices are dramatically reduced. Forces are pulled from the middle east, or at least withdrawn to support positions rather than active front line. UK support to the US ceases. Blockades are finally lifted.

Mine:
There will not be a significant, successful foreign terrorist plot, of any kind, on American soil. The absolute most I reckon would happen is maybe truck bombings like the Oklahoma City. Nothing on the scale of 9/11.
There'll probably be as many troops in Iraq next December as there are now.
The US/"Coalition" won't invade another nation, but US forces will continue the "War On Terror" in an increasing number of countries (cf. recent airstrikes in Sudan).
There will be fatal terrorist attacks on the scale of the train bombings in London and Barcelona in recent years, but in a different country.
I'd lay money on at least some of those, but I would be crass to bet on human suffering.
Let's prepare for new beginnings and new ways of seeing things.

I predict that in the next few months, probably within 6, the feds will launch another false-flag attack on the general public, to bolster their occupation of Iraq. A few more thousand will be sacrificed, possibly as many as ten or twenty thousand, in order to assure it gets the attention it deserves. Having just concluded the examination of the results of their last excursion, they have found it all went rather well, considering a few hang-ups and loose threads that were easily ironed out. I predict slow-acting fatal poison, radiation or a deadly biological weapon as the next instrument used.

I'd like to ask a question and this seems to be the place for it so...
Assuming the future can be predicted with some accuracy...What good does it do to know the future?? I'm not talking about what might happen, about talking about knowing what will happen. I mean, if it will happen, we can't cause it not to happen right? Sure we could plan out what we are going to do when it does happen, but it's not like we are going to actually have enough information regarding our own personal circumstances to be able to make any effective plans. I think the best we could do is to act as best we may whenever 'it' occurs. Would knowing the future affect our ability to act the best we can at that time? I don't think so.
So what do you all think?

And so we come to the final chapter in the story of a world that has proven itself hopelessly lost in its quest for happiness and peace. I think Enoch predicted the situation we see in 2007 quite well:
And in those days the angels shall return
And hurl themselves to the east upon the Parthians and Medes: They shall stir up the kings, so that a spirit of unrest shall come upon them, And they shall rouse them from their thrones, That they may break forth as lions from their lairs, And as hungry wolves among their flocks. 6 And they shall go up and tread under foot the land of His elect ones [And the land of His elect ones shall be before them a threshing-floor and a highway :] 7But the city of my righteous shall be a hindrance to their horses. And they shall begin to fight among themselves, And their right hand shall be strong against themselves, And a man shall not know his brother, Nor a son his father or his mother, Till there be no number of the corpses through their slaughter, And their punishment be not in vain.

Magnetics and genetics will reach big headlines. There will be 'secret societies' investigated by the media. These societies will be found to oppose the government and terrorists, but both sides will label them as the other. Personal Identification will be stepped up a gear, certainly making it more difficult to oppose. There will be an underground market in infrasonic and electromagnetic weaponary. Groups of young people will suddenly go missing. Holographic television makes a public widespread appearance. A new virus is discovered in Brazil.
Just guesses.

Stephen Hawking will jump out of his chair, and find he can talk and walk again.
The first extraterrestrials will come, only to intially find the joy of Marijuana and other narcotics. We'll establish trade with them through these new drugs, and gain superadvanced technology in the process.
More seriously(these are still hopeful predictions, but ones that are actually more possible): Bush's presidency will end early, and he will be impeached and tried for his crimes against our constitution. Either that, or he'll do something else stupid enough to get him in even more trouble with Congress and the American people.
America will start to go back to being the bastion of human rights and oppurtunity it used to be, and its diplomatic relations with other countries will flourish because of this.

They could do the Good Cop/Bad Cop routine, with Arms Merchant lending his cool exterior and peace-loving mannerisms while SpectraL serves to pick off people one-by-one in a ghoulish fashion resulting in their deaths for violating forum rules.
What a great idea.

I think Bush will push a ton more troops in Iraq... Plans change in Iraq but still tons of IED attacks. Future relations with Pakistan going even better and more terrorists will be hunted down...
There's going to be more problems in Israel... (That's a given)
Technology advances distract us from all our freedoms being taken away....
Hurricanes will come earlier and there will be alot more of them in the carribian and abroad...
There will be a devastating event of never seen before size changed our perception on things...
UN Plots on how they can profit off war as Bush does....
Someone's family member dies(Atleast I know I'll get one right)

1st Quarter-As President Bush Removes some troops from Iraq, He will be sending more out, Not to Iraq though. Another country; Possibly Iran. Oh wow this isn't a surprise, I think we will be heading into another war in the middle east.
I predict that in the next few months, probably within 6, the feds will launch another false-flag attack on the general public, to bolster their occupation of Iraq. A few more thousand will be sacrificed, possibly as many as ten or twenty thousand, in order to assure it gets the attention it deserves...
Took a leisurely amble through the thread and tripped over a few dead ones... well, Speculum does have another 3 or so months on the clock. We'll see.

Plus, Arm's is protected by Shaman Shield™, so any attempt from Spectral to upset the balance by demonically usurping him will be automatically thwarted! To bad about Rust and Nemisis... hopefully they've got a couple of niece's with incestous foetuses with which to distract the demons.

Gambling, by definition, involves playing games. That is why they call it "gaming."

people are gonna realize the Wii and PS3 is a piece of shit and come to the 360 =D
you have it completely backwards my friend. everyone knows the wii is just plain awesome, and the ps3 has equal if not better hardware than the 360, plus it hasnt had the massive hardware failures that the 360 is still having.

I just wondered how a pendulum can tell you that just by swinging it. I mean like yes and no questions.. I could maybe believe in that, it sounds fun. But how can it tell you something like an earthquake in nevada? Did you ask it if there was going to be an earthquake there and every other single city? Or did it just say "Yo there's an earthquake at Nevada this year?"
My prediction. I die the minute after 11:59, December 31st. :(

You really have to ask it.
I can ask myself sometimes and sometimes I can feel out the truth. At times it's a lot clearer than others. Right now it's really clouded.

There will be a nuclear holocaust that will devastate the entire world. Japan will nuke China, China will nuke Vietnam, Vietnam will camp in the forests, the US will nuke the Middle East. Chaos will erupt in the 4 regions of the West. Mass shootings, a rise of serial killers, murder counts in the millions in most populated cities throughout the world, mass hysteria by all, there will be no law, complete anarchy in the UK, electricity will fail and we will have to resort back to oil, technology will cease to exsist, hospitals will not be able to run, a total police state, there will be no room in the prisons so you will be automaticly executed if found guilty of any crime, there will be global domination by one superios leader, global destruction, the forming of a new society...a perfect one.

Major ones?
It isn't very surprising. Nevada is one of the most seismologically active states in the US next to Alaska and California.
There hasn't been a decent earthquake here since the 50's, I think. The most recent was a 5.7 about 15 years ago. So I'd say we're about due for one.

As these predictions were made by Alaskan time, I reckon we've got about 15 hours left. I'm still holding out for the killer all-in-one combo package; there hasn't been a really good disaster since the Boxing Day tsunami back in '04.
